Traveling for the last time with the Burr and Burton Academy Student Success Program, this was my final trip as a graduating senior of BBA. In previous years, we went to Southern California and Puerto Rico. Instead of taking the entire success program as we have in previous years, the trip was open to just seniors, and our destination was Colorado.
Immediately as we arrived in Denver, I could sense a much different vibe than on previous trips. Since there was less of us and we all graduated together, we were all very close with one another. It was a great last bonding experience with this group; something that I am definitely going to miss but hold close to me. Throughout the four days that we spent in Colorado, we visited places such as Boulder, Idaho Springs, Colorado Springs, and Denver. We did a lot of sightseeing and awesome activities that you can't really experience to this level of extremity back in Vermont. We were able to do outdoor rock climbing in one of Boulder's National Parks, drive into the Rocky Mountains and explore the Rocky Mountain National Park, go white water rafting, trail cleaning, shopping, tour the Stanley Hotel, and so much more. It was truly an unforgettable experience that I will carry with me forever. To read more in detail about our trip to Colorado, check out my post here:
